I was remiss earlier in not posting the news that Jon met his goal of 7500 words written in the month of November!! Whoo-hoo! I am particularly excited about this beause Jon is just getting started with his writing endeavors and he has Really Great world building ideas. I want him to write so I can read the books. :) So congrats again, Jon, on meeting the first aggressive writing goal you've set for yourself!
Pretty much all I've done this evening is drink wine and instant message with my stepmother (who, incidentally, is not at all evil). Oh, and fill my Amazon cart with lots o' books. And Josh Groban's new holiday cd. I have very strict holday music standards. But that warrants a whole other post. I have high hopes for Josh.
Between the bus rides to and from work and in between chatting with my stepmother, I did manage 389 words. I suppose I can justify this slacking as a post-NaNo break. I'll give myself until Monday to get back on track, full steam ahead, with new word count goals in place. In the meantime, I'm at a good place in the book so I expect to continue making daily progress (and perhaps a little less wine drinking).
