"Guys" or "boys"?

Okay, quick question for those of you with teen girls. Do they call teen males "guys" or "boys"? I keep wanting to say "boys" in my WIP but I'm wondering if that's more *me* and less my 16 y.o. character.

Thoughts appreciated! :)

When I type "what does it feel like to be kicked in the stomach" into Google, 90% of the returned search results are for "what does it feel like to be kicked in the balls?"

I didn't get too far with the fight scene tonight. I ended up having to double back and add some stuff in an earlier chapter that became relevant in this scene in addition to a bunch of descriptions and reflection.

I also did a bunch more research online. Well, attempted to do more research, anyway. Do a search on YouTube for martial arts or karate fighting multiple opponents and you get back some pretty hilarious stuff. If I think of it, I'll post links to my two favorites tomorrow -- too tired tonight.

I came in just under my daily goal, but considering the amount of time I spent researching, etc. I'm pleased with what I've accomplished.
