Friday Five

1. I opened my single serving Fruitabu package today and there were two Fruitabus in it!! Highlight of my day. (Fruitabu is "organic smooshed fruit" -- their words, not mine -- in case you didn't know. They're like organic fruit roll ups with no extra sugar added. I heart them.)

2. The sidewalk outside my office is where many of the bus routes pick up their riders. Question for the f-list: Since it's a bus route, does that mean you should line up across the doorways of buildings, completely blocking their openings, so that buildings which employ oh, say, thousands of people can't properly exit, day in and day out? Oh, wait. I can answer this one myself! NO. Make a hole, people. For the love of Fruitabu...

3. There was a mini-discussion at work today about the term "over-arching" as in "over-arching theme". Do you think it's redundant? Like, what's the difference between an "arching theme" and an "over-arching theme"? I agree that it sounds redundant, but it also doesn't sound right to just say arching. Discuss in comments.

4. I've been meaning to post this link for ages. Thanks to wedeschild for the original posting. The coolest My Little Ponies evah. As a point of trivia, I am was a huge My Little Pony fan when I was a kid. I had the castle and the nursery and I don't know how many Ponies.

5. I know only one (fabulous) person participated in my flash fiction invitation the other day but I really enjoyed writing my piece. I'm going to make it a regular thing, so I'm looking for topics/prompts/challenges/ideas/suggestions. Lots of them. So, please leave me one or two or ten in the comments. Thanks!
