There were many things I wanted to post about today, but the thing I absolutely cannot stop thinking about is this terrible, lovely, heartbreaking post from YA author Lisa Madigan (via Kaz). I am completely humbled by all I have to be thankful for and by the grace with which Lisa is handling this part of her life. With all the blessings I'm surrounded by on a minutely basis--my health, a job, creativity, love, family, endless endless lists--I do a pretty terrible job at remembering to rejoice about them and be thankful for them. I'm utterly certain I would not have the grace to accept all that Lisa has to and to simply try to make the most of what's left.
Lisa, I cannot stop thinking about you and your life.
