Off to Romantic Times!

Well, this is my last post before I fly out to the Romantic Times convention in Houston tomorrow morning. I'm hoping to have the opportunity to blog with updates during the convention, but I'm not sure how busy I'll be. I'm bringing an absolutely ridiculous amount of stuff. I'm also bringing my first chapter for a critique by Judi McCoy, who's leading the Beginner Writer's workshop I'll be attending the first day and a half I'll be there. Ben and I spent some time choreographing the fight scene today so I could finish the first chapter -- what fun! I ended up adding another 556 words to the chapter between that and the last minute editing I did, bringing my total to:
