This is the design I did on my brother's girlfriend. It ended up being my favorite of the day.
Here's the one I did on my own hand. This picture was taken several hours after I crumbled the henna paste off, leaving just the stain. This is one of the darkest stains I've ever gotten, on par with the design I had done for my wedding. Too bad I ruined it by swimming in my brother-in-law's chlorinated pool the day after this picture was taken. *sigh*

I just finished reading Rachel Caine's GALE FORCE (review forthcoming). Up next is a critique of a short story for Chandra, then--gasp!--the start of revisions!! Since I'll be officially back to work at writing, it also means I'll be back to posting more regularly.
