Please join me in jumping up and down and screaming like a fool to congratulate Karen Mahoney on achieving the *real* NaNo goal of 50,000 words!!! And four days early, to boot. She's such a nice person, I bet she'll still hang out with her *modified* NaNo Harem buddies though. ;)
Jon hasn't checked in with me in about a week, so his totals are (hopefully) out of date. That's right, Zawrotny, I'm calling you out on my blog. You are officially considered AWOL and should report back to base immediately.
Chandra's right on track and will most certainly make her goal -- excellent work!! I commend her for splitting her writing time between two different projects, writing on vacation *and* writing long hand (which is extra slow for me, although I know Gena Showalter writes all her first drafts long hand).
It looks like I'll meet the 30K tomorrow night if all goes well. If it weren't for the pesky day job, I could have written straight through tonight. But, the day job requires me to think and thinking requires sleep, hence I must quit at 1,026 words tonight.
(But damn, I want to keep writing...)
