I took today off from the day job to do my Christmas shopping. Cue blizzard.
No writing, because I've spent the entire day either shopping at a store, driving around the state of Connecticut in multiple inches of snow or shopping online. Oh, or snowblowing, resulting in cramped hands. (don't ask)
I will stop whining now.
Tomorrow night is Ben's company holiday party (i.e. no writing). Saturday is Christmas shopping attempt #2, then holiday plans with friends (i.e. no writing). Sunday? More holiday plans. Perhaps some writing. And more blizzarding. Yahoo. End result: almost no writing for week three post-NaNo. Rock on.

Hey, it's the holiday season! It can't be helped. Don't put pressure on yourself to write, that way anything you *do* achieve will be a bonus and a reason to celebrate.
I'm not getting on too well with the revision, if it's any consolation...
I saw Jon at the party last night and we were cracking up. I said I know why they do NaNo in November -- it's because you don't get shit done in December!!
As for the revision, remember you're in new territory now, something you've never done before. Expect it to be slow and cumbersome for a while. :) You'll get there.
