The Sunday Wedding

My friends Amanda and Justin got married last night. It was lovely and we had a blast. By 'we', I mean the cool kids who actually stuck around for the entire reception. Apparently having a wedding on a Sunday night means you lose half your guests at 7:00. That was stinky, but hey! It left more room on the dance floor when the good music* came on. Here are a few pics:

The bride and groom (as you may have guessed). It sort of looks like Amanda's trying to snack on Justin's nose, but they're really just giggling with each other during their first dance. They're so cute!!

Aforementioned cool kids doing a shot of whiskey. *cough, cough*

Amanda, being a Scary Vampire Bride (tm). I love her. :)

Yeah. This was supposed to be a picture of Shannon's (the bride's/groom's sister-in-law) and my 'matching' arm tattoos. I guess Ben was a little distracted... *ahem*.

He managed to get the tattoo in this one, but I'm convinced its only because her arm was in close proximity to where our boobs were touching. *sigh* Anyway, it's one of the coolest tattoos I've ever seen and I have major tattoo lust over it.

These were the table favors -- SO. CUTE. Amanda and Justin love to travel and they've been to many countries. Each table was named for a different country (we were Liechtenstein) and had corresponding favors. A miniature suitcase box with the country's flag on it, containing chocolates from that country (ours had Swiss chocolates, though, since apparently Liechtenstein doesn't actually produce any chocolate of its own and relies on its neighbors for all things chocolatey). Our name cards were the shape of luggage tags and had the airline corresponding with the country your table was named after. And a little book of photos taken from one of their trips, complete with cute little captions. Oh! I forgot -- inside each little suitcase was a trivia fact about your table-country. Mine was that Liechtenstein produces the majority of the world's false teeth. o_O

I'm sure I'll end up posting a few more pictures once the photographer pics are available. Ben and I are sure to be featured prominently, since we were the dance floor's biggest customers.

Congratulations, Amanda and Justin! Hope you're having fun on your 3 week tour of Scandinavia!!!

*And by 'good' music, I mean The Humpty Dance by Digital Underground, Push It by Salt 'n' Pepa, Baby Got Back by Sir Mixalot and the classic Brick House by The Commodores.
