Great dog available for adoption

Our friend's parents are fostering a really sweet lab named Cafta (possibly Kafta?). I met her today and if we didn't already have Logan the Man Diva, I would have taken her home with me. She's very, very sweet, good with kids, other dogs, crowds (we were at a 40th birthday party). And, bonus, she loves to give kisses!

Her background is that she was being trained as a therapy dog, contracted pneumonia, and her owners were going to put her down. Another woman took her in and nursed her through the illness, but couldn't keep her. So, now my friend's parents have her. Oh, the only other thing is that her tail doesn't wag (or do much of anything, really). They think it was broken when she was a puppy, because it just sort of hangs, consequently making her look like she's always just a little bit scared.

Anyway, v e r y sweet (did I mention that? :D). If you're in CT and interested, let me know. If you're interested but outside of CT, let me know anyway. Maybe we can arrange some sort of volunteer-based transportation chain.
