Lie to me

Dudes. I am totally addicted to this show.

Lie to Me stars Tim Roth (who I lurve) as Cal Lightman, the world's foremost deception expert. He's learned how to read people's "micro-expressions" and "facial emblems" to detect when people are lying and/or hiding something. Partnered with a leading psychologist and two rookie deception-experts-in-training, they work with various clients like the FBI, CIA, the president, and private individuals to prevent and solve crimes, vet cabinet picks, etc.

The deception detection piece of it gets a little formulaic after a handful of episodes (we just started the second season via Netflix but I think it's in its third or fourth) but the character development is money. I'm totally sucked in!!! I love all the characters and the cases are widely varied and pretty interesting.

Also, one of the rookies (Eli Loker, played by Brendan Hines) has the EXACT hair of my main character in TLOS, at least in terms of curliness:

Yummy, right? I mean all of him, not just the hair. His character is the only one who, so far, is written a little inconsistently (imo).

I would definitely recommend checking it out. We're currently streaming it through Netflix.
