Got some good writing done this afternoon, while my dog climbed all over me and my husband played Def Jam ICON. Hey, every writer has her muse, right? Today's total is 460 and that brings the grand total to 7,031. The Zokutou site isn't working at the moment, so no word meter. I'm so happy to be approaching the 10K mark.
Karen Mahoney posted a comment on my last post offering a tip she'd read that even if you write just 100 words a day for 100 days, you'll have 10,000 words. So, that's my new goal. To write at least 100 words a day. I know I can't realistically write every single day, so the days I miss will dictate my writing goals on the other days -- to make up my 700 words/week count. Although I'm still trying to stick to my 'at least one sentence per day' rule. It's really helped me make better, quicker progress when I do sit down to write for a dedicated period of time.
RT Costume news: Fairy Ball and Vamps of the Wild West costumes complete (though I still have to get the fairy one cleaned). Moulin Rouge still outstanding.
