Countdown to RT

Happy April Fool's Day! We are now in the month of the Romantic Times Book Convention and my Beginner Writer's workshop. Whoo-hoo! I can't wait. I need to find costumes for 2 of the evening events -- Moulin Rouge and Vampires of the Wild West. Ugh. I'm so not a Moulin Rouge or Wild West person. That will be my job for this week -- costume hunting.

Today I got a bunch of writing done, maybe 400 or so words. I worked on two different parts of the book (gawd I hate that crime scene) and touched up a few other places so I'm not sure what the official count for today is. But here is my official new total:

6,460 / 100,000 (6.5%)

I also reformatted the entire thing according to the 'standard' format I learned about in my Beginner Writer's workshop discussion group.

That's all for now. Tomorrow it's back to hell -- I mean corporateland.
