I'm slogging through this scene. It's in my MC's apartment and I just can't visualize it properly, which is making it difficult for me to imagine her in the apartment. I squeaked out a hundred or so words. Reformatted my chapters. Squeaked out another fifty or so words. Studied the floor plan of the apartment. Squeaked out another couple of sentences. And so on. I've given up on new words for the evening but I'm heading over to the IKEA website to furnish her apartment.
Tomorrow night is Ben's golf league and Logan goes to daycare (yes, I send my dog to daycare) so he should be sufficiently pooped. I should have a good three hours of uninterrupted writing time -- whoo-hoo!

I write contemporary paranormals with a humorous twist and even I mistake were. Did it today in fact.
Hey Kristen! I didn't mean to imply that it was UF writers only. I just cracked myself up, because I spent a second being genuinely puzzled by the sentence before I realized it was the *verb*. :)
Oh my gosh, I've done the same thing! Re: were. ;-)
Keep up the good work.
