Back in the swing of things

I did a lot of work tonight. Honest. Don't believe a word that stinking Zokutou meter says. I was apparently really frustrated with the scene I was working on before I left for RT because I ended it in a way that screamed "I just want this goddamn thing over with". So, you know, that had to go. Snip, snip. Then I needed to introduce a new character who is an otter. That is to say, he turns into an otter. So I needed to figure out what kind of otter and for heaven's sake did I have an appropriate habitat, yadda yadda. So that lead to some internet research. Necessary, but not new words. *sigh* I emailed an external source for some other info I need -- my first time. We'll see if they turn out to be helpful or completely ignore me.

When all is said and done, I wrote about 200 new words tonight, even though stinky Zokutou only shows 30. I'm looking forward to quicker progress later this week.
