I've also been writing, but I'm on another computer right now so I don't have a word count to post. I think I've figured out why this neverending scene is going so slowly, why I'm having such difficulty with it. It means I'll need to go back through most of what I've written so far and change a few things but nothing too crazy. Mostly just some layering to bring along the romantic relationship a little quicker.

I've read a few books since I've last given a proper post. I'm working my way through Marjorie M. Liu's entire catalog. She's so good. I accidentally read a book out of order, but it didn't really matter too much. The Dirk and Steele series does have an overarching story line but for the most part the books can be read as stand alones. Technically Dirk and Steele are all paranormal romances because the romance plot is really forward but, as Karen Mahoney and I have been discussing this week, other than that you could really call her stories Urban Fantasy because they're so heavy on the action. All good stuff.
