I'm exhausted. I slept like complete crap last night and I'm not a person who does well on a reduced sleep schedule. I'm turning in early tonight for the sake of my day job, but I wanted to let you know I might be scarce around here for a few days.

The writing is going...but it's going very slowly. I'm working on a very pivotal moment of decision and realization for my main character and it's taking a fair amount of seduction on my part to get the words to play nice. The word count is inching up in the very teensiest of increments, but I think I'm nailing the scene so I'm happy just the same.

I've also got many, many, far too many distractions in the house -- new books (Mark Del Franco! Kim Harrison!) and new movies being just a few.

So I'm going to focus on keeping the writing going for the rest of the week, which may mean a little less attention to my blogging community.
