Only 5 degrees of separation between me and Angelina Jolie. *faints* Four to Giovanni Ribisi! Three to Vin Diesel! Joe is a friend of my brother-in-law's who I also know through parties, etc. He produces music and movies and made a movie last year with Chad Lindberg, who played Jesse in The Fast and the Furious (thus the link to Vin, Vin to Giovanni from Boiler Room, Giovanni to Angie from Gone in 60 Seconds).

In other weekend news, I had some sort of stomach bug today. Good times, good times. I ate a handful of pita chips about a half hour ago with no ill consequences (yet) so hopefully it's passed. I also finished laying out the framework for the plot of Book 2 and bits and pieces of future books in the series. I'll formally outline the plot tomorrow and then push onto revisions. *shudder*

Oh, and for your amusement, here's a picture of the Chicken Pot Pie Yarmulka I made for dinner last night:



I was making this Hungry Girl chicken pot pie recipe and it instructs you to form a dough out of 3 reduced fat crescent rolls, and then roll it out into a circle large enough for a 9" pie plate. As you can see, that didn't work. It didn't work on the bottom either. So, we ended up with sort of an open faced Chicken Pot Pie with a Yarmulka. It tasted great, though. :)

Oh! And I got tickets to see Matt Nathanson, which I am SO EXCITED ABOUT. Have you listened to Some Mad Hope yet? You really should.
