It's a tough call for me. Five years ago, I would have named Scotland (specifically the Glen Coe area) without hesitation. Lately, I've been longing for a stronger real-life (as in flesh-and-blood) writing community, so the London area sounds really appealing, since I know a few writers there. Either way, it would be someplace overseas. I love the U.S. but I'm determined to live at least a portion of my life in another country.

How about after I get tenure (in 1700 days or so) you come on sabbatical with me? I want to go somewhere out of the country, and I'm sure I'll never convince my worry wart of a husband to come.
Of course, by some accounts, I already live out of the country ;)
LOL! I am *so* there.
p.s. I have to email you - I've knit two pairs of wristlets. I'm addicted!
